Tracy Ganote
A woman in a floral shirt stands in the school hallway with her young grandsonTracy has been part of the district since 1998, spending her career serving students across several schools on the east side. She began at Wrightstown Elementary as a monitor and worked her way up while continuing her education. Today, she serves as a cross categorical primary teacher, with experience teaching preschool, kindergarten, second grade, fourth grade, and special education.

Her passion for the job is simple and clear. “I love helping them through the day, giving hugs, and when they talk to me and say silly things.”

She also credits her success to the strong team around her. “I have the best staff,” she said. “They go over and above. They stay extra time to make sure the kids are well taken care of. They support me. They’re wonderful people.”

Having her grandson on campus makes her experience even more special. “I love having my grandson here at school,” she shared. “I love the hugs every day when he jumps off the daycare van, and I love seeing him before he goes back after school.”

Tracy says the sense of community is what makes her school stand out. “We are very collaborative. We are a team. All the kids here belong to all of us,” she said.

Outside of work, Tracy enjoys spending time with her family and caring for her animals.
